February 19, 2021: as of today, 2514 residents of Taganrog have received COVID-19 vaccinations. The number of residents who completed the second vaccination phase reached 638.

Mass vaccination campaigns for COVID-19 were organized in public health centres and medical units of Tagmet and Krasny Kotelshchik. Over the entire duration of vaccination Taganrog has been supplied with 3500 dozes. Everyone is encouraged to get vaccinated. Supplies will increase over time and 2100 more dozes are expected soon.

As of February 18, 69683 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Rostov Oblast region, and 59845 persons have already recovered.

Earlier the Governor eased COVID-19 related restrictions. Following the amendments, food courts and ice skating rinks on the territory of malls have reopened. Movie showings at cinemas and gyms are now allowed at 50% capacity.

Furthermore, planned medical assistance and official reception of citizens has resumed. Non-food trade fairs were also allowed to reopen.
