May 21, 2025: Taganrog sailing master Vlas Kadetov and his team on the yacht "St. Anna" won the 25th Göcek Youth and Sport Cup in Göcek, Turkey.

Vlas Kadetov was born in the city of Taganrog, and has won numerous sailing cups and championship titles since Soviet Union times, and continues to work as a sailing coach. Besides this work, Kadetov family owns a private shipbuilding yard on the coast of the Gulf of Taganrog.


The sailing regatta in the Bay of Göcek, which is on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, was held for the 25th time. Fifty-two sailing yachts from 9 world countries measuring 7 to 20 meters took part in the competition, which was held in Fethiye bay and en route between different islands.
