September 30, 2022: in 2021 urbanists were commissioned to produce a Design Code within the framework of Taganrog's urban revitalization program.

The Urban Design Code is the document that sets clear rules and guidelines relating to environmental sustainability and community safety for a harmonic visual ensemble and stylistic unity.


The document will guide the signposting, placement layouts for retail sales via stalls, direction signs and street furniture.

The approved recommendations will allow to preserve the historic urban scene of Taganrog, making it more attractive for business and tourism, while remaining a visually pleasing city.
