July 19, 2021: Taganrog Museum of Architecture and Urbanism, among other historic sites and museums of the city, hosted the First International Theatre Festival "Chekhov Street".

The theater production entitled "On the Edge of a Strange Nest" (directed by A. Arishin) was performed in the museum's inner courtyard on July 18. All actors were from Donetsk Republic Academic Youth Theatre (City of Makeevka, Donetsk People's Republic/Ukraine). Grigory Rysin, the author of "On the Edge of a Strange Nest", belongs to the mentioned theatre, too.

"We present the play about the life, art, and love affairs of Ivan Turgenev, especially about his relationships with five women whose lives he adversely affected. The unique feature is that the action occurs at the radio station during the recording of a programme devoted to Turgenev", explained the author of the play.
