December 23, 2024: a meeting of Taganrog Coordination Council for Tourism was held in the Taganrog Chekhov Public Library.

Chaired by Taganrog First Deputy City Manager Khristofor Yermashov, the meeting brought together local officials; deputies of the City Council (Duma); representatives of tourism information centers, museums, and colleges; tour guides.


The attendees shared their experience in the field of tourism. Special attention was given to such local religious sites as St. Nicholas the Wonderworker Church, the Old Cemetery, the Church of All Saints, and the House of Saint Paul of Taganrog. Representatives of the Taganrog Group of Museums and the Taganrog Museum of Art presented new museum programs and schedules for 2025.

Based on the results of the meeting, plans for further activities on the issues discussed were outlined.
