The Taganrog Interregional Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TICCI) was established on November 9, 1994 by the decision of the Constitutive Meeting. The area of economic activity of the TICCI extends beyond the city of Taganrog and covers entire Neklinovskiy, Matveevo-Kurganskiy and Kuybishevskiy areas of Rostov Oblast.

Among the wide range of its activities, the most important are assistance in development of entrepreneurship of all levels, making industrial, scientific, financial and trade policy, settling differences between entrepreneurs and society. The Taganrog Interregional Chamber of Commerce and Industry is also involved in a series of such activities as creating favorable economic conditions for business people aimed at establishing cooperation between business community and government bodies, promoting all types of trade, economic, scientific and technical relations between Russian and foreign entrepreneurs. It presents interests of all its members regardless of their legal form and location on the territory of the Chamber's activity.

Today the TICCI has over 70 members united on voluntary basis. Among them are the largest leaders in aircraft- and shipbuilding, engineering, iron & steel, agricultural industry, banking and other service providing sectors as well as small and medium-sized enterprises. By supporting Russian entrepreneurs in establishing business contacts with foreign and Russian partners, the Chamber encourages export of goods and services, attraction of investments for economic development of the region. The TICCI also collaborates closely with local government structures, as well as with governmental and non-governmental public structures supporting entrepreneurship.

One of such structures is the International Black Sea Club Business Council (IBSC BC) established on September 24, 1999 in Nikolaev (Ukraine) by the International Black Sea Club (IBSC) and Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the IBSC member-cities. At present the Taganrog Interregional CCI chairs the IBSC Business Council.
