June 14, 2023: Taganrog City Council President and City Executive Inna Titarenko participated in the remote mode at both the international conference "Historical and Cultural Heritage of Ancient Cities" and a session of the Association of the Northern Black Sea Ancient Heritage Cities.

The conference participants discussed urgent issues of the preservation of the ancient heritage in Crimea and other territories of the Northern Black Sea region. At the session of the Association of the Northern Black Sea Ancient Heritage Cities, it was decided to organize a working group on the development of the Russian travel itinerary "The Golden Ring of the Bosporus Kingdom." Inna Titarenko became a member of this working group. In light of the upcoming work, the positive experience of Taganrog in implementing the municipal revitalization program will be helpful.


Taganrog was among the founding cities of the Association of the Northern Black Sea Ancient Heritage Cities, which was established in February 2020. It represents a union of municipalities which have historical sites of Greek and Roman origins. The Association focuses on the international, interregional, and inter-municipal cooperation.

Taganrog City Council President and City Executive Inna Titarenko participated in the previous session of the Association of the Northern Black Sea Ancient Heritage Cities in June 2022.
