October 3, 2023: the All-Russian Canoe Youth Championships took place in the city of Krasnodar on September 16-24. Over 200 athletes from 32 regions of Russia were competing in two age divisions (under-19 and under-24) at such distances as 200 meters, 500 meters, 1000 meters, and 5000 meters.
Trainees of Taganrog's Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve No. 3 achieved positive results by winning six medals:
Olesya Kozeeva - silver in women's U24 double 500m kayak;
Olesya Kozeeva, Alexandra Bondarenko, Alexandra Tishchenko - bronze in women's U24 quad 500m kayak;
Olesya Kozeeva, Alexandra Tishchenko - silver in women's U24 double 1000m kayak;
Alexandra Bondarenko - silver in women's U19 double 500m kayak;
Vladislav Kurkudilov, Artemy Bulbin - bronze in men's U24 double 5000m kayak;
Artem Plaxienko - bronze in men's U19 quad 1000m canoe.
