July 4, 2023: the All-Russian Canoe Championships took place in the city of Moscow on June 28 - July 3. Over 250 athletes from 33 regions of Russia were competing at such distances as 200 meters, 500 meters, 1000 meters, and 5000 meters.


The trainees of Taganrog's Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve No. 3 performed well in the competition. Maxim Spesivtsev won three gold (in men's kayak single 500m and 1000m, men's kayak quad 500m) and one silver (in men's kayak double 500m) medals. Vitaly Yershov won one gold (in men's kayak quad 500m) and one silver (in men's kayak double 500m). Olesya Kozeeva ranked 5th both in women's kayak single 1000m and women's kayak quad 500m.

Based on the results of the races, the best athletes will be selected for the Russia national team.
