March 25, 2025: Taganrog participated in the 31st international travel fair MITT. It was held at the exhibition and trade center Crocus Expo (Krasnogorsk, Moscow Oblast) on on March 18-20.

MITT in Moscow is one of the largest trade shows for travel and tourism in Russia, ranking among five largest travel and tourism trade shows in the world. This year it got together over 1000 exhibitors from Russia and 34 foreign countries.


As the director of the independent non-profit organization "Rostov Oblast Tourism and Business Communication Agency" Tatyana Goryaynova said, there were more than 30 representatives of the region's travel agencies, museums and other tourism-related institutions. In particular, they showed the fair's visitors the capabilities of Rostov Oblast for such nontraditional areas as ecotourism, culinary tourism, and family glamping.

Taganrog's immense tourist potential was introduced in the framework of Rostov Oblast's pavilion, contributed by Taganrog Local Government and the city's visitor information centers. The figure that caught everyone's eye at the pavilion was the actress who portrayed a fisherwoman and resident of Taganrog's coastal district Bogudoniya.

Once again, MITT proved itself to be an excellent opportunity to share experience and make new business contacts.
