"Dance pavilion's improvement performed by "Sinara - Urban Transport Solutions Taganrog", is a great example of eagerness to participate in the life of this city, apart from the main project. Up to three thousand people attend Gorky Park on weekdays; this number is doubled on weekends. There are enough locations not only to walk, but also to spend time in more productive ways. Now the open-air dance pavilion is among the places, where everyone can find something for himself or herself", indicated Taganrog City Manager Andrey Lisitsky.

The following works have been carried out in the framework of the renovation: minor repairs of fences, construction of the amphitheater and its stage, paving of the whole territory with asphalt, replacement of street lights, installation of a selfie photo booth, placing of benches and loungers, and patterning on the stage gates.

A vintage 1966 Tatra streetcar was placed on the ground. It was painted in the colors of the new Taganrog trams. The streetcar's interiors were converted into a spacious children's playroom, where kids will be able to develop their artistic and reading skills. Besides, the dance floor contains boards with information about the history of Taganrog streetcar system.

Free regular film screenings are to be organized in the amphitheater. Live music on weekends and different sports and cultural events are planned as well. Moreover, a professional photographer will be working here on weekends.

Earlier Taganrog and "Sinara" had signed a concession agreement for the new streetcar system and procurement of trams for Taganrog. Taganrog will obtain exclusive single-section low-floor trams with modern equipment. Ten new streetcars will be acquired until the end of this year.
