December 22, 2021: during Rostov Oblast Governor Vasily Golubev's working trip to Taganrog on December 21, a renovation concept for Pushkinskaya Embankment was unveiled.

The concept includes, inter alia, reinforcement of the waterfront; repairing of walkways and paving tiles; installation of water supply system, local treatment facilities, irrigation system and video surveillance system. It is also planned to extend the embankment up to the commercial seaport and to build a few stairways connecting the walking area with downtown area.


"We revitalise the city in order to create conditions for both residents and visitors who want to enjoy local sites and vacation in Taganrog", Vasily Golubev said. Governor requested city authorities to draft a detailed renovation plan by March 2022.
