June 16, 2021: a series of boat races for different age groups was held in the water area of the new yacht club "Pier 5" ("Pyaty Prichal"). It took place on June 7-12, 2021. The regatta was organized by "Pier 5", Taganrog Sailing Federation and NGO "TERRA".
Athletes from Taganrog, Rostov-on-Don, Azov, Yeisk, Krasnodar, Novorossiysk and Moscow participated in the regatta. They competed in such classes as cruiser yachts, the MK, Finn-class yachts, the Optimist, and also in Techno and Formula windsurfing classes.
Co-founder of NGO "TERRA" and board member of Taganrog Federation of Sailing Boris I. Romanenko spoke at the opening ceremony: "Taganrog has always been famous for its yachtsmen. We had, and still have, some dynasties that considered yacht sport not as a passion, but as a way of life. They glorified Taganrog, while participating in different competitions, including world-class ones, - such families as Kadetovs, Nazarenko, Romanenko, Voloshins, Alekseevs. Three or four generations in a row have dedicated themselves to yacht sport".
"It is not so easy to organize a regatta, it costs money. However, we understand that yachtsmen without races are not yachtsmen and decided to support them with this regatta", Boris Romanenko added.

Formula - Alexander Khristianovsky (Taganrog).
Techno U17 - Angelica Kolodiy (Yeisk) and Gleb Sechin (Yeisk).
Techno U15 - Kirill Skorobogaty (Taganrog) and Sophia Berezhnaya (Yeisk).
Techno U13 - Artyom Fedorenko and Sophia Vasilyeva (Taganrog).
The MK - Alexander Ludyakov, Konstantin Vostrokonov and Igor Stepanenko.
Cruiser yachts - Andrey Voloshin, Maxim Romanenko and Oleg Moskalenko.
