The 2nd Reading and Literature Project "Reading Chekhov Aloud" - Call for Entries

December 30, 2021: Taganrog Chekhov Public Library invites you to take part in the literature project "Reading Chekhov Aloud". It will take place in his home city of Taganrog in January 2022. The project is dedicated to Anton Chekhov's literary heritage.

How to enter:
1. Make a video clip where you are reading aloud a fragment from Chekhov's works in your native language for not longer than 2 minutes.
2. Send your video to aigu@mail.ru before February 1, 2022.

The following details have to be provided:
1) Your country and city (or town, or village);
2) Your first and last names;
3) Title of the chosen Anton Chekhov's work.

Supported by:
  • Taganrog Chekhov Public Library;
  • Taganrog Local Government, Foreign Relations Office.

    Terms and conditions of participation:
    Open to: libraries, museums, theaters, non-government organizations, artist groups, fine art studios, educational and pre-school facilities, volunteer groups, and individual amateur participants.
    Age: no age limits.
    Subjects: any of Anton Chekhov's works.

    All participants will receive a digital participation certificate.

    You are encouraged to share the results of your activity in social networks using hashtag #readingchekhov.
