The First Forum "Women for Priazovie Sustainable Development" Held in Taganrog
May 19, 2025: the first forum "Women for Priazovie Sustainable Development" took place in the city of Taganrog on May 15-16.
The forum brought together experts to discuss issues of integrated development of the coastal zone of the Sea of Azov. The possibilities of attracting private funds into the economy as well as the involvement of small and medium businesses in social projects were discussed at the forum. Particular attention was paid to the development of the local tourism cluster, the social capital of the region, and the promotion of social diplomacy.
A photo exhibition "The World Through the Eyes of Russian Diplomats' Spouses" opened within the framework of the forum. Ms. Zahra Ahmed - President of the International Women's Club of the Wives of Ambassadors of Foreign Countries (IWC) and Spouse of The Ambassador Plenipotentiary of The Islamic Republic Pakistan in the Russian Federation delivered welcoming remarks in the remote mode.
Taganrog City Executive Svetlana Kambulova came up with the idea of a new educational project - a film festival of the Azov region cities entitled "Sundial." Its program is expected to include a tourism-related category.
