July 28, 2021: according to Rostov Oblast Minister of Health Yuri Kobzev's declaration, the region recorded the second highest ranking in vaccination rates across Russia.

Yuri Kobzev emphasized that the vaccination plan for adult population of Rostov Oblast has exceeded 50 per cent. More than 1.03 million region's residents have received COVID-19 vaccinations, and the number of residents who completed both vaccination phases is near 680 thousand. Almost 1.2 million doses of vaccine have been delivered to the region.

As of July 28, 108379 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Rostov Oblast, and 96220 persons have already recovered.
