July 20, 2021: the number of Taganrog residents who received vaccinations against COVID-19 is growing. As of July 20, more than 920 thousand region's residents have received COVID-19 vaccinations, and the number of residents who completed the second vaccination phase exceeded 586 thousand.

Earlier Rostov Oblast Governor Vasily Golubev had signed a regulation on the rollback of some COVID-19 restrictions that had chiefly concerned public places and mass events. Vaccination against COVID-19 had been declared to be mandatory in the region since July 1.

As of July 20, 105372 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Rostov Oblast, and 93967 persons have already recovered.
