February 8, 2022: according to a new regulation, published by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, sick leave certificates in Rostov Oblast may be issued remotely.

From now on, medical consultations together with sick leave certificates are issued without visiting medical care facilities. Any person becoming ill needs either to leave a request on the website of his/her local care facility, or to contact a call center. Soon after this, a health worker will contact the requester for remote advisory and further treatment strategy. In case of a minor illness, the diseased person ought to stay at home.

As of February 8, 228627 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Rostov Oblast, and 188750 people have already recovered.
