August 26, 2021: Rostov Oblast's regional vaccination plan of against COVID-19 has been 65.5 per cent implemented. It was reported by Rostov Oblast Minister of Economic Development Maxim Papushenko during a regional government session.
"353 vaccination centres are functioning in the territory of municipalities. The target was to immunize 60 per cent of Rostov Oblast residents, which constitutes more than 2 million people. At present, 65.5 per cent of the vaccination plan has been reached", the Minister informed.
Meanwhile, according to a regulation signed by Rostov Oblast Governor Vasily Golubev, some of the COVID-19 restrictions are mitigated in Taganrog.
Bathhouses and saunas have resumed their activities. The same goes for attractions in parks, retail outlets in malls, indoor pools and waterparks. Sports activities with spectators are now also authorized.
Public catering is no longer limited by 30 per cent of maximum capacity. However, the visitors must still submit certificates of vaccination, PCR tests or antibodies verification documents.
As of August 26, 121988 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Rostov Oblast, and 105839 people have already recovered.
