September 12, 2024: festive events dedicated to the 326th anniversary of Taganrog's foundation took place today.

The celebration began with a divine service held at St. Nicholas the Wonderworker Church - the oldest house of worship in the city. Following that city officials laid flowers to Peter the Great monument - Russian emperor, who founded the Taganrog fortress in 1698.

The events were attended by Taganrog City Manager Andrey Fateyev, new city council deputies, citizens of honor, representatives of law enforcement agencies and clergy.
