May 5, 2023: the annual all-Russian sailing competitions "Spring Sails of Taganrog" was held April 28 - May 4 on the grounds of Taganrog's Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve No. 3.
About 150 junior sailors from 10 regions competed in 420, Cadet, Laser 4.7, Laser Radial, Luch, Luch Mini, Luch Radial, Optimist and Zoom 8 categories. Trainees of Taganrog's Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve No. 3 participated as well. Kirill Romanenko and Nikita Kondrashov ranked 3rd in boys' 420 category. Yaroslav Nikushin won gold in men's under-21 Luch category.
According to Rostov Oblast Minister of Sports and Physical Training Samvel Arakelyan, the best sportsmen of "Spring Sails of Taganrog" will be selected for the Russian national youth team.
