Byelorussian delegation visiting Taganrog

September 10-13, 2009 - the official delegation from the city of Pinsk headed by the Vice-Mayor Mikhail Samolazov are visiting the city of Taganrog to participate in the celebrations of the 311 years since foundation of the city.

The sister city agreement between Taganrog and Pinsk was signed on June 25 in Byelorussian capital Minsk in the presence of the Byelorussian prime minister Sidorsky and Rostov governor Tchoob (who was born in the city of Pinsk).

The Byelorussian guests were received by Mr. Nikolay Fedyanin at the Mayor's Office. The guests exchanged their views on development of friendly relations between the two nations and discussed the upcoming joint events and cooperation projects. The guests from Pinsk participated in the Reception by the Mayor of Taganrog held at the Chekhov Theater, and visited memorial Chekhov sites and city museums.
