June 29, 2023: the international archery tournament "Peter's Arrows" ("Strely Petra") was held in the city of Saint Petersburg on June 23-28. Over 180 participants from Armenia, Belarus, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and 16 regions of Russia competed in individual and team events.
Yelena Osipova from Taganrog achieved positive results by winning the silver medal in women's team recurve bow (together with her teammates Nurinisso Makhmudova and Ksenia Perova) and bronze medal in women's individual recurve bow.
Throughout her distinguished career, Yelena Osipova has been on track for a great number of medals and other major achievements. Among the most important, she won
a silver medal at the Summer Olympics in Tokyo as a member of the ROC women's national archery team and another
silver medal in women's individual archery event. She was among the athletes to receive the state award - the
Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" of the first class.
More recently, Yelena Osipova
won gold in the mixed event at the 2nd international archery tournament "Grand Prix Nur-Sultan" and
three silver medals at Belarus Archery Open.
