February 21: Minsk, Belarus hosted the international archery competition "Cup of the Strongest" among men and women. The tournament was held at the shooting range of the Armed Forces Sports Committee named after Marshal S.K. Timoshenko. More than 40 sportsmen from Russia and the Republic of Belarus took part in the competition.


The Russian archery team performed brilliantly at the competition, winning the gold medal in the team event. In the individual event the athlete from Taganrog Elena Osipova showed a high result, taking 5th place, which confirms her stable form and high level of preparation.

"Here is the first medal in this season. It's been a long time since I've had any medals at 18 meters, since about 2018. There is one more winter distance competition ahead. I'll get ready." Yelena summarized the results of the competition.
