July 3, 2024: the international archery tournament "Grand Prix Astana" took place on June 27 - July 2 in the city of Astana, Kazakhstan. The competition brought together over 100 athletes from 10 countries.

Yelena Osipova from Taganrog ranked 4th in the team event and won bronze in women's individual recurve bow.


"I shot quite firmly, but it could have been done better. I made a minor mistake in the semi-final, but still I shot pretty well. Now I need to work on improving the results," wrote Yelena Osipova on her VKontakte page.

Throughout her distinguished career, Yelena Osipova has been on track for a great number of medals and other major achievements. Among the most important, she won a silver medal at the Summer Olympics in Tokyo as a member of the ROC women's national archery team and another silver medal in women's individual archery event. She was among the athletes to receive the state award - the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" of the first class.
