Yelena Osipova Wins Medals at Belarus Archery Open

May 29, 2023: Belarus Archery Open took place in the city of Minsk, the Republic of Belarus on May 23-27. It brought together over 100 athletes, including 31 Russians.

Yelena Osipova from Taganrog achieved sustainable results by winning three silver medals: in women's individual recurve bow, women's team recurve bow and mixed event.

Last year, in August, Yelena Osipova won gold in women's individual recurve bow at the 2022 All-Russia Summer Spartakiad. In April 2022, Yelena Osipova became the champion of Russia in women's individual recurve bow. Earlier she won two silver medals at the 2021 Hyundai Archery World Cup Final in Yankton, USA. In 2021 the athlete claimed her first silver medal at the Summer Olympics in Tokyo as a member of the ROC women's national archery team and her second silver medal in women's individual archery event.

She was among the athletes to receive the state award - the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" of the first class.
