Coastal Grain Terminal to Be Built in Taganrog's Harbor

August 17, 2021: the project of a coastal grain terminal in the harbor has been approved by Glavgosexpertiza (RF State Expert Evaluation Department). The agreement to build a universal harbor transshipment complex in the seaport of Taganrog, with more than 50 new jobs planned to be created, was signed at the 2019 Sochi Investment Forum.

Production capacity of the complex will be 270 thousand tons of cargo per year. The construction will help to protect water area from waving, ice piling, and bottom sediments movement.

The project will give rise to other improvements, including the Northern mole's reconstruction, two new cargo berths, installation of technological equipment as well as hydraulic structures and dredging operations.

The "Coastal Grain Terminal Ltd." complex is intended to contribute to the development of transport links and regional food export.
