November 1, 2017: yesterday, October 31, a breakfast meeting to discuss the new opportunities of cooperation with China was traditionally held at TEMIRINDA hotel. It was organized by SOVETNIK Consulting Group and by the non-commercial partnership "Taganrog Agency for Development and Entrepreneurship". According to Mrs. Yelena Sirota, director of "Sovetnik" and alderwoman of the local city council, the extension of international contacts is very important for strengthening the economic ties.


Among the guests were Mrs. Titarenko, Taganrog City Council President & City Executive and all the other members of Russian delegation who went to China last month. Inna Titarenko told about the visit to partner city Jining and outlined the prospects for mutual cooperation in business and cultural exchanges.


Mrs. Anna Tsygankova, director of Taganrog Tourism Information Center and AnyTicket Ltd. shared her own impressions of the trip to Jining and presented a preliminary concept of a weekly tour program from Rostov Oblast to China. Russian tourists will have an opportunity to visit Beijing, Jining, Qufu, Jinan, and to see at least 6 UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Mount Tai, Temple and Cemetery of Confucius, Kong Family Mansion in Qufu, Great Wall and Forbidden City.


The free discussion was also preceded by a 15-minute video film about Jining, provided by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chinese partner city and subtitled into Russian by Taganrog Foreign Relations Office.


Mrs. Yelena Sirota personally presented information about Shandong Province Metallurgical Engineering Co. (SDM), provided by Mr. Xie Yilin - Chinese company's young and promising manager, known as one of the winners of "Taganrog and Its Sister Cites" online contest, which was held in 2013.
