BETA AIR and Russian Helicopters Agree on Joint Testing of Helicopters' Airborne Equipment

September 30, 2016: Taganrog-based developer of avation test equipment Beta Air and the second-largest Russian defence contractor Russian Helicopters JSC signed an agreement on cooperation in development, production and supply of equipments used in helicopters' health monitoring and avionics testing.

The agreement was endorsed by Mr. Grigory Kozlov, Russian Helicopters's deputy director and Mr. Roman Zhurenko, Beta-Air's director general within the framework of the 11th International exhibition and scientific conference on naval aviation "Gidroaviasalon-2016". The parties agreed to work together in improving competitiveness of Russian helicopter aviation and to introduce avation test equipment manufactured by the Taganrog company into service records of Mil and Kamov helicopters.

"Testing of helicopters' airborne equipment and ground health monitoring are vital parts of preflight preparation. The agreement that we signed will increase marketability and overall safety rate of Russian aviation technologies", told Grigory Kozlov.

The main product developed by Beta Air Company's engineers is ATE-200 Automated Test Equipment, the ARINC - 608A compliant station enabled to test line replaceable units of both Western and Russian built aircraft. BETA AIR produces wide range of airborne devices, including power supply control units, air conditioning control units, 0 to 2000 Hz airborne vibration gauges, and many more.
