July 2, 2017: Beriev Aircraft Corp. and Energy Leader Aircraft Manufacturing Co. Ltd. inked a new sales agreement, extending the memorandum signed at Airshow China 2016. It was announced earlier that the delivery of a "modernized" custom-built version of Be-200 is scheduled for 2018.


Under the new deal, the Taganrog-based plane factory will deliver two Be-200 amphibians, two Be-103 amphibians, arrange the start of Be-103 license production in China, establish a maintenance and repair center for amphibious aircraft and open a school for cockpit and technical personel training within the territory of People's Republic of China.
