September 3, 2015: MAKS-2015, the 12th International Aviation and Space Show, was traditionally held near Moscow, Russia on Zhukovskiy air field August 25-30, 2015.
Beriev Aircraft Corp. participated in MAKS-2015 as part of the United Aircraft Corporation. Beriev's booth represented information on current and prospective projects of the Company including Be-200 amphibious aircraft and its modifications. Static display included Be-200ES amphibian aircraft operated by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations and a radar picket aircraft A-50U operated by Russian Air Force.
The MAKS-2015 was a successful show for
Beriev Aircraft Corp. The company's representatives conducted a number of negotiations and meetings with private and state enterprises and government institutions from a large variety of countries. Eventual buyers were particularly interested in BE-200's performance in coast patrol, firefighting, search and rescue operations. The BE-200 multipurpose amphibian offers universal structural design of airplane configuration.
In 2003 the airplane's BE-200ES modification was certified by the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) in terms of compliance with the Russian airworthiness requirements AP-25. Since 2007 an additional certificate allows the BE-200ES to carry 43 passengers. In 2010 the aircraft was certified by European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
