March 26, 2010: On 25 March, 2010, the second AEW Aircraft EI, fitted with the MSA equipment, successfully completed an 8-hour flight from Israel to India (Mumbai), where the aircraft was handed over to the Indian Air Force. Thus, the current stage of the Contract has been completed, and this will enable the Indian Air Force to review the possibility to place an order for additional aircraft.
AEW Aircraft EI has been manufactured for a foreign customer under the Contract made by FSUE Rosoboronexport.
Beriev Aircraft Company is currently continuing activities under this Contract.
