May 14, 2009: the
Taganrog Interregional Chamber of Commerce and Industry initiated the fifth assembly of the non-commercial partnership "The Business Council of the
International Black Sea Club" (IBSC Business Council).
The main topics on the agenda were the issues of economic cooperation, development of business relations, organization of various forums and conferences on problems of external economic activities and business practices, and also events organized by the chambers of commerce members of the IBSC Business Council in order to support enterprises in conditions of a complex financial situation.
The Taganrog Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a bilateral agreement of cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Transnistria.
The International Black Sea Club Business Council (IBSC BC) was established on September 24, 1999 in Nikolaev (Ukraine) by the
International Black Sea Club (IBSC) and Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the IBSC member-cities to promote the formation of a modern industrial, financial and trade infrastructure; cooperation with international organizations and financial bodies and to strengthen the interaction between the business community and local government bodies.
The IBSC Business Council was officially registered on January 20, 2006. Today, the council groups 13 chambers of commerce from Russia, Ukraine, Abkhazia and Transnistria.
