October 15, 2014: qualifying rounds of the All-Russian Yachting Competitions "Autumn Sails" are held October 14-20, 2014 in Gulf of Taganrog, Azov Sea. The stage is an important part of Russian National Championship in the yacht classes "Optimist", "Cadet", "Zoom 8", "Laser 4.7", "Finn", "Laser Radial", "420", "RS:X", "Techno", "DNK", "Luch" and "Europa".

Up to date 274 yachtsmen from various regions and cities of Russia - Krasnodar Krai, Perm Krai, regions of Samara, Rostov, Lipetsk, Leningrad, Novgorod, Arkhangelsk, Yaroslavl, Voronezh and Moscow, Tatarstan, and the cities of Omsk, Sochi, Vladivostok, Dolgoprudniy, Novorossiysk, Lipetsk, Yeisk, Miass, Temryuk, Nizhny Novgorod, Sevastopol, Samara, Chelyabinsk, Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Sarartov arrived in the city to participate in the competitions.

The opening of competitions and a press conference were held Tuesday, October 14 in the historical building of the Taganrog Yacht Club.
