Taganrog Marks the 80th Anniversary of Victory over Nazi Germany in the Great Patriotic War

May 10, 2025: Taganrog celebrated Victory Day commemorating the nation's major role in the allied victory over Nazi Germany in the Great Patriotic War (World War II).

On the eve of the 80th anniversary of Victory, City Executive Svetlana Kambulova and President of Taganrog City Council Roman Koryakin laid Victory Day flowers in front of "The City of Military Glory" stela. The ceremony brought together veterans, representatives of NGOs, municipal officers, municipal deputies, and local citizens. As tradition demands, a moment of silence was observed as a tribute to the heroes and victims of the Great Patriotic War.
