November 29, 2021: 28th FIG Trampoline Gymnastics World Age Group Competitions were held in the city of Baku, Azerbaijan on November 25-28. The World Age Group Competitions (WAGC), a prestigious international competition that follows the Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships each year, are designed to give promising young gymnasts important international exposure in a World Championships setting. 570 athletes from 32 countries participated in these competitions. They competed at four disciples in four age groups.


Young athletes from Taganrog (Sports School No. 3) secured two medals: Yegor Glushchenko took the double trampoline gold in age group 4 and Veronica Tugarina won her individual double trampoline bronze medal in age group 4. Coaches Alexander and Natalia Shevchenko played a key role in their professional development.
