November 9, 2016: The Taganrog-based Krasny Kotelshchik
boiler factory, a member of Power Machines group of companies and "EnergoMashinostroitelny Alliance" (PJSC "EMAlliance") shipped the first equipment units for boiler no.1 of The "Long Phu" power project in Vietnam. Representatives of customer company "Vietnam Oil and Gas Group" attended the necessary tests.
Equipment will be delivered to the construction site of the first thermal power plant, being built on a turnkey basis by Power Machines in consortium with the Vietnamese company PTSC.
For Power Machines, Long Phu-1 is the first foreign thermal power project constructed on a turnkey basis. Krasny Kotelshchik
plant takes an active part in its implementation: scope of delivery includes two pulverized coal-fired boilers (each with capacity of 1908 tons of steam per hour) and heat-exchange equipment.
Designing of equipment is also performed by Krasny Kotelshchik
specialists. The assemblies under pressure are performed in accordance with standards of the American Society for Mechanical Engineers (ASME), providing an additional guarantee of the high quality.
Contract for construction of Long Phu-1 TPP with a total capacity of 1200 MW was concluded between the Vietnamese company "Vietnam Oil and Gas Group" and international consortium "PM-PTSC"(member of Power Machines), acting as the consortium leader, and Petrovietnam Technical Services Corporation (Vietnam) in December, 2014. The project's completion is scheduled for 2019.
