September 28-30, 2010: delegation of the Embassy of Sweden headed by Ambassador Tomas Bertelman is visiting Rostov Oblast.
September 29, Ambassador was received by Vasily Golubev, Governor of Rostov Oblast, and in the afternoon, the delegation visited the city of Taganrog. The Swedish delegation visited the Taganrog College of Technologies of Southern Federal University, and the Center for Nanotechnology at the Southern Federal University.
During the tour of the city and the visit to the Center for Nanotechnology, the delegation was accompanied by Mayor Nikolay Fedyanin, Vice-Mayor Stanislav Drobniy and Foreign Relations Officer Mirgorodskiy.
The city's tourist attractions - Birth House of Anton Chekhov and Taganrog Museum of Art - were honored by a memorable visit of the Swedish Ambassador.
