September 9, 2006 was the day when four new world records were set during two flights in the C-3 class (amphibious aircraft) with takeoff and landing in the Anapa Airport and on water:
The maximum flying speed on the closed route of 500 kilometers (without cargo).
The preliminary result is the speed of 669 kilometers per hour.

The total of world records set in four flights is 8. The FAI (International Aeronautics Federation) was represented by the sports commissar of National Aeroclub of Russia named after Chkalov, Mrs. Tatiana Polozova.
All results are considered to be preliminary and will be officially approved by the FAI within three months (according to FAI regulations).
Up to date, Beriev BE-200 planes have set 34 world records.
