July 8, 2016: The Taganrog Krasny Kotelshchik
boiler factory, a member of Power Machines group of companies and "EnergoMashinostroitelny Alliance" (PJSC "EMAlliance") group produced and shipped the chamber-type high pressure heater (chamber-type HPH) for the Byelorussian nuclear power plant (NPP) in the city of Astravets, Grodno Oblast. Large-size equipment weighing 138 tons will be installed on the first power unit of the plant. Seven similar heaters for this NPP are currently under production. Delivery completion is scheduled for March 2017.
Large dimensions and thickness of the structural elements is a distinctive feature of the chamber-type HPH for the Belarusian NPP. Heat-exchange surface is made of corrosion-resistant tubes of small diameter which will ensure long-term and reliable operation of the tube system without overhaul. The equipment will be installed in the station turbine shop for regenerative heating of feed water with steam, this will increase considerably the installation efficiency.
