May 18, 2018: three lectors and 12 students of Taganrog Management and Economics College made a visit to partner city Lüdenscheid, May 3-12, 2018.

The cooperation between the college in Taganrog and Bergstadt Gymnasium started 20 years ago within the framework of various Robert Bosch grant foundation's programs. The title of the new project was "Shine Always, Shine Everywhere!" ("Immer scheine die Sonne, immer leuchte der Himmel, immer lebe die Freundschaft, moege Frieden immer sein"), dedicated to peace and international friendships.

On May 7, 2018 Russian delegation was received by Bürgermeister Dieter Dzewas and representatives of the Lüdenscheid's town hall. The students from Taganrog presented a photo exhibition entitled "My City in A New Light". The photographs were taken by the students of Taganrog Management and Economics College, Taganrog Municipal Schools No. 8 and No.4. The exhibition will remain at the town hall building as a contribution to the 750th foundation anniversary of Lüdenscheid, known as "The City of Lights".


Besides the work on the joint project with Bergstadt Gymnasium, the program included meetings with students learning Russian language, trips to Cologne, Dortmund and Unna, visit to Phänomenta and the factory ERCO.

The return visit of Lüdenscheid students to Taganrog is scheduled to take place in June 2019.
