April 30, 2005 - Hannover Fair 2005, the largest international trade held in Europe closed with excellent results. The Russian Federation, this year's specially featured "Partner Country", successfully profiled itself as a major technology partner with great innovative drive and potential. Russia and its most important trading partner, Germany, leveraged the show to further consolidate their close economic and political ties, thus raising their collaboration to new heights.
Beriev Aircraft Company
together with "IRKUT" Corporation took part in this first-rate international industrial and economic affair. At the exhibition, Beriev Aircraft Company showcased their multipurpose amphibious aircraft Be-200 and the light multipurpose amphibious aircraft Be-103 as a part of the joint hall of the Russian Aviation Industry. The business meetings in the course of the exhibition, proved that the multipurpose amphibious aircraft Be-200 has good export prospects, which is confirmed by Beriev Aircraft Company
efforts in the process of Be-200 amphibious aircraft certification in Europe with assistance of EADS and AIRBUS specialists. By now, the flight display of Be-200 aircraft has been made in France and Greece. Moreover, specialists of U.S. and Portugal's fire fighting services got familiar with this aircraft and expressed their interest in the aircraft flight performance.
The light multipurpose amphibian Be-103 has quite good sale prospects as well. It has been launched into serial production and has Russian Normal Type Certificate in compliance with Russian Aviation Regulations AP-23. Besides, Be-103 aircraft is certified according to FAA standards. Beriev Aircraft Company
received proposals to start the certification process in China and Brazil. Three aircraft have already been supplied to the first customer in the U.S.
