March 22, 2017: Transformer with the capacity of 175 MW, voltage of 110 KV is intended for installation at power unit No. 2, which is currently being renovated. Supply of the second and the third transformers is planned for 2018 and 2019 correspondingly.
Agreement for supply of three transformers and rendering of services of installation supervision was signed between PMTT and Power machines in December 2014. The supply is performed as part of renovation project of four power units of Kazakhmys Energy, performed by Power Machines group of companies.
The corresponding
agreement with Kazakhmys Energy was signed in 2015. According to the agreement liabilities, Power machines shall supply to SPDD 4 sets of power equipment, each comprising steam turbine and turbogenerator with the capacity of 130 MW, heat exchanging equipment of
Krasny Kotelshchik, a member of Power Machines group of companies and "EnergoMashinostroitelny Alliance" (PJSC "EMAlliance"). Power Machines shall additionally supply three transformers within the agreement.
First set of equipment for power unit No. 2 of Kazakhmys Energy SPDD was shipped in 2016. Completion of turbines and generators supply for other power units is planned for 2019, of heat exchanging equipment supply - for 2021.
