Equipment for Vietnamese thermal power plant Long Phu-1 produced at Taganrog's Krasny Kotelshchik factory.

January 27, 2016: The Taganrog Krasny Kotelshchik boiler factory, a member of Power Machines group of companies and "EnergoMashinostroitelny Alliance" (PJSC "EMAlliance") group, has started production of equipment for the thermal power plant Long Phu-1, which is being built in Vietnam. Currently, the first boiler furnace side water walls are being welded.

The contract for the construction of the Thermal Power Plant totaling to 1200 MW was signed between the Vietnamese Company "Vietnam Oil and Gas Group" (Petrovietnam) and an International Consortium PM-PTSC in cooperation with Power Machines, as a Consortium Leader, and Petrovietnam Technical Services Corporation (Vietnam) in December 2014.

Within the framework of the Project, Krasny Kotelshchik is to design, manufacture and supply two pulverized coal boilers with capacity of 1908 tons of steam per hour each for two thermal power plant's power units. The required capacity will be reached through the overall equipment dimensions optimized by the Company design engineers: the Boiler height - 86 meters, length - 54 meters, width - 56 meters. For all its large scale, such characteristics are considered the compact for this class of boilers. Another major feature of the Taganrog factory's equipment will be the possibility to use a wide range of various fuels all in compliance with the strictest emission requirements. The successful implementation of this project will allow Krasny Kotelshchik to count on further cooperation in construction of 600 MW supercritical units.

Fulfillment of the Long Phu-1 TPP contract secures a considerable workload for Krasny Kotelshchik. It is scheduled that manufacturing the main equipment for the Long Phu-1 TPP will be completed in the second quarter of 2017. At the present time, the first components have been put into production. These are the furnace side water walls. The further design of the equipment is in progress.
