June 21, 2023: The "Pier Five" Sailing Cup was held in the water area of the yacht club "Pier Five" ("Pyaty Prichal").
Over 100 athletes from Azov, Rostov-on-Don and Taganrog competed in the 420, Laser Radial, Luch Mini, Optimist, Techno, and cruiser yacht categories.
The winners are:
the 420 - Artyom Shirochenko, Yaroslav Makarov (Azov);
the Laser Radial - Ivan Yuryev (Azov);
the Luch Mini - Kirill Sheludyakov (Azov);
the Optimist - Bogdan Nefyodov (Azov);
the Techno U19 - Roman Ulasyuk (Taganrog);
the Techno U15 - Veniamin Vasenko (Taganrog);
cruising yachts - Maxim Romanenko, A. Kalashnikov, A. Voloshin, I. Statsenko.
In addition, a RUSADA anti-doping seminar under the auspices of the All-Russian Sailing Federation was held within the framework of the competition.
The event was held in a positive atmosphere and got a lot of press.
The yacht club "Pier 5" opened in 2021 with a regatta organized by Taganrog Sailing Federation and NGO "TERRA".
