May 3, 2021: regional festival for the arts and crafts of disabled children and youth entitled "Creativity without Borders - 2021" recently opened in Taganrog. It will continue until May 29.
United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution designating 2021 as the "International Year of Peace and Trust". It underlined that the International Year constitutes a means of mobilizing international efforts to promote peace and trust among nations on the basis of political dialogue, mutual understanding and cooperation in order to build sustainable peace, solidarity and harmony. It is in this context that the festival is aimed for public awareness of social reintegration of disabled children in Rostov Oblast, including provision of the necessary infrastructure.
Every disabled person under the age of 30 may apply for participation. The following nominations are available: vocal art, sign song, choreography, theatrical art, instrumental art, arts and crafts, and technical creativity. The applications are accepted until May 20 inclusively via email (metodgdk@yandex.ru).
In order to slow the spread of COVID-19, the competition program will be presented online. Additionally, gala-concert will take place on May 29, maintaining necessary safety measures.
