May 16, 2023: the international applied science conference "Psychological and Pedagogical Education of Parents: Past, Present and Future" was held on May 12 in the remote mode. The General Education Chair of Taganrog Chekhov Teachers College acted as the organizer of the conference.

The event was aimed at discussing the issues of family education, the experience of interaction between family and school, and also the support of children with limited health capacities and their families.


A wide number of participants and observers joined the conference online: the organizers received over 300 applications, including 59 reports. The event came into notice far beyond Taganrog Chekhov Teachers College and its superior, Rostov State University of Economics. In particular, the faculty and students of universities and colleges from such cities as Armavir, Cherkessk, Elista, Grozny, Irkutsk, Kaliningrad, Kazan, Moscow, Omsk, Rostov-on-Don, St. Petersburg, Syktyvkar, and administrative areas of Rostov Oblast took part in the conference.

As for the international coverage, Foreign Relations Office of Taganrog Local Government played an active role in engaging participants and observers from Armenia, Belarus, Cuba, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Sweden, Turkey, and Uzbekistan.

The conference was held in a positive way. Discussion of the declared issues as well as the exchange of views and sharing experiences will definitely have a ripple effect on the practices of the participants.
