February 12, 2021: Beriev Aircraft Company is to provide Turkey with five fire-fighting versions of amphibians BE-200. The news was released by the Information Office of Rostov Oblast Government, with reference to Rostov Oblast Minister of Industry Andrey Savelyev.

At the same time, creation of specialized squadron of amphibians to fight fires abroad is under active consideration.

Earlier Beriev Aircraft Company signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations on delivery of two BE-200ES. One more BE-200 is going to be delivered in 2021.

Beriev is an aircraft and special aviation complex manufacturer. Mass production of BE-200ES was launched in 2016.
