August 8, 2022: the final stage of the 2022 Russian Sailing Cup was held in the city of Saint Petersburg August 1-7. The 2022 Russian Sailing Cup is part of the 2022 Commonwealth Open Sailing Cup.
The athletes competed in the 470, the 49er, the 49er FX, the Laser Standard, the Laser Radial, the Nacra 17, and iQFoil categories.
Following the results of all stages, Alisa Yeschenko from Taganrog won the main trophy in the Olympic class of the Laser Radial.

In September 2021, Alisa Yeschenko won gold in the Laser Radial class at Russian Junior Sailing Championships, held by St. Petersburg Yacht Club in the Gulf of Finland. Later, in May 2022, she finished
third at the 2022 Open Sailing Cup of Belarus.
