September 14, 2021: Alisa Yeschenko from Taganrog won gold in Laser Radial class at Russian Junior Sailing Championships, held by St. Petersburg Yacht Club in the Gulf of Finland. The victory was anticipated in the light of Yeschenko's considerable advantage over her rivals even before the final.
"The race was not easy, but eventually I overcame the sail, and the wind, and my own nerves", commented the athlete.
